Tammy (Lo) Spellacy specializes in real estate and general business transactions. She regularly assists and guides clients through commercial real estate sale and purchase deals, from initial contract negotiation to the due diligence process and finally, through closing. She also represents both landlords and tenants in commercial lease negotiations.
In addition to her real estate work, Ms. Spellacy’s practice also includes international and domestic corporate transactions, including handling complex commercial contract preparation and negotiation, advising on business entity formation or restructures and developing business strategies to meet clients’ business needs and goals. Ms. Spellacy frequently serves as outside general counsel for clients, including assisting with financings, overseeing corporate governance matters, developing internal company policies and resolving contractual disputes.
Prior to joining Carney Badley Spellman, Ms. Spellacy practiced in Palo Alto and Newport Beach, California. She is a graduate of the J.D./M.B.A. program at Santa Clara University School of Law, where she served as an editor of the Santa Clara Law Review and also as President of Phi Delta Phi and the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
Ms. Spellacy is fluent in Madarin, Chinese.
