Tim Parker served for many years as president of Carney Badley Spellman and as head of the Litigation Section.
He currently practices full time in the areas of civil litigation and insurance regulation. He is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has defended class actions and tried numerous jury cases in state and federal courts involving employment discrimination, defamation, wrongful death, personal injury and subrogation. He has handled a variety of administrative cases before state agencies, including Form A hearings, rate and form filings and enforcement actions initiated by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner and the Department of Financial Institutions.
Mr. Parker has been an invited speaker at numerous Continuing Legal Education and insurance industry seminars on the topics of discovery rules, legislative developments, and class action defense.
Mr. Parker has served as a Washington State Bar Association Disciplinary Hearing Officer 2005 – present.

Mr. Parker has been named by Washington Super Lawyers magazine as one of the top attorneys in the state since 2003 and listed in the Super Lawyers Business Edition 2011-2017. He has been listed in Seattle Metropolitan Magazine and Seattle Business Magazine as one of King County’s “Top Lawyers” 2010 – 2016. They cull their listings from Martindale-Hubbell and Super Lawyers. In addition, AVVO has given Mr. Parker a superb rating.
