Eric Hanson’s practice concentrates on insurance issues with a specific focus on the prosecution of property damage claims. He has successfully litigated cases throughout the Western United States in both state and federal court. Prior to entering private practice, Eric clerked for Justice Charles Johnson at the Washington State Supreme Court.
Eric works throughout the West handling cases in Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, Alaska, Idaho and California. Eric is licensed in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. He is a member of the Washington, Oregon, and Alaska Bar Associations, and NASP (National Association of Subrogation Professionals). Eric has experience with a variety of matters from simple negligence to catastrophic property claims caused by wildfires, propane and natural gas events, product liability failures, or construction related losses. Eric routinely handles depositions, hearing and mediations.
Eric received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of San Francisco, and earned his law degree at Seattle University School of Law in 1996 (with honors).
